Shadow Bag
A man once lived on his daily bread, bread which was dark in color. He awoke each morning dining on his shadow. He consumed his dark side. Over time, he became solid and reliable. He was noted as trustworthy. He lived this way sustained and nourished by his insight, guided by his instincts, and feeling proud and gracious. Then one day he decided to fit into a crowd who had been critical of his lifestyle. He began vomiting into a bag each morning upon waking. He did fit in better, but soon he was ignored and those relationships disintegrated. However, our hero continued vomiting into his bag believing if he got rid of more of himself that it would all work out. When he realized how destructive and for naught his actions were, he dove into the bag in a fit of desperation becoming consumed by darkness.
He immediately felt lost and lonely. He had stepped down from his throne. He lost everything by discarding his own mastery and this knowledge flooded through his veins like paralyzing poison from a giant black spider. His bed became the house for the digestive juices to do their slow work. Soon, his body fell into disrepair and his mind was occupied with hopelessness.
He had felt this way before. It was how he felt before he discovered how important eating his shadow for breakfast is. He had found his way out of the darkness before. He suddenly had confidence again. He knows he successfully traveled through similar lands. He understands his dark side alone is his salvation. Once again, he attended to his life.
